And now, Varalaxmi has made an important political statement has spoken about entering politics. Speaking to media, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar said that she does not have any connection with his father Sarathkumar's political decision. Varalaxmi also said that she will enter politic once she has learned everything about it.

Notably, Varalaxmi has shown her social interest from time to time when she launched the ‘Save Shakti’ campaign for women to fight against sexual harassment. The actress also turned as host for a television talk show titled 'Unnai Arindaal'. Varalaxmi's father and actor Sarathkumar has his own political party named All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi and it will be interesting to see whether the actress follows her father's footsteps or paves her own way.
