As a shocking event, the director of the movie Vetri Maaran has released a video statement saying that the team has decided to delete a scene from the movie.
In the video, Vetri Maaran said that they will be removing the first-night sequence between Ameer and Andrea that takes place in the boat as a section of people from the fishermen community felt that the scene is kind of degradation.
Vetri Maaran also said that the movie Vada Chennai is not made to hurt anyone or their emotions and also apologized if it had affected anyone's emotions.
