There was a buzz that national award winning director Vetrimaaran is likely to start his long pending project Vada Chennai, this year. Dhanush has reportedly allotted nine months for this two-part gangster saga. However, the latest buzz is that the film will be going on floors only in 2017.
For the first time, Samantha will sport a deglamorized look, that of a slum dweller. We have already reported that the film will be a multi-starrer with many top heroes sharing screen space for the first time. With music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, the film is expected to hi-octane gangster thriller. Coming from an award winning director Vetrimaaran, along with National award-winning actor-producer Dhanush, the film has created quite high expectations.
