STR's Vaalu for NIC Arts is currently progressing in Hyderabad. It is also said that Simbu's father TR will play the role of a station master. The film is directed by debutant Vijay and went on floors recently in Chennai. The latest is that the film is likely to hit screens for Deepavali ahead of Simbu's long awaited Vettai Manna, which has been scheduled to grace theatres on Pongal 2013.
The film also has Hansika Motwani as the leading lady. Santhaanam and VTV Ganesh are also likely to play prominent roles in this flick. Meanwhile STR's long awaited Vettai Mannan is also progressing briskly.
