Uriyadi 2, the sequel to the 2016 smash hit film, Uriyadi, wrapped up production last year under Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. Director Vijay Kumar, who also starred in the lead role in the original, returns in Uriyadi 2 with 96 fame Govind Vasantha scoring the music for the film.

With the film’s motion poster and the first look poster unveiled to a positive response, the makers have now released the “Vaa Vaa Penne” lyric video song from Uriyadi 2, which can be viewed below:
Uriyadi dealt with caste and student politics with the film being lauded by critics unanimously and eventually the film going on to taste commercial success due to word of mouth. Now, all eyes are locked on to what the team has in store next for fans in the sequel, which we can expect to be released sometime soon.
Expectations for Uriyadi 2 have been high ever since the film rolled into production after the 2016 original went on to achieve cult status with many declaring it to be one of the finest political thrillers to be made in Tamil cinema history.
