As known already, veteran actor Kamal Haasan will be officially flagging off his political journey starting next week on February 21.

Last week saw the 'Ulaganayagan' launch his website http://naalainamadhe.maiam.com/ to bring together the common public under a single bracket to be part of Kamal Haasan’s web community.

Meanwhile, there has been much debate on how Kamal will coordinate his film commitments from this point onwards.

The four-time National Award-winner is at present working on the post-production of Vishwaroopam 2, which will likely arrive on screens this summer.

His Sabaash Naidu, which was brought to an unexpected halt in 2016, also remains to be completed.

Last year also saw Kamal announce Indian 2, the sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Indian with director Shankar returning to wield the megaphone.

A project titled Thalaivan Irukkindraan too was said to be resurrected in 2017 with plans to begin production.

Fans have also been awaiting an update on Kamal Haasan’s most ambitious project, Marudhanayagam, which has been lying around in limbo for several years.

Having said that, the acclaimed actor has now spoken out on his plans for the future stating he will not be signing any films after the completion of Indian 2 with Shankar. As for the rest of the projects, no update was provided by the legendary thespian.

This will no doubt be a big blow for the actor’s fans, who have seen him be called one of the finest artistes the nation has ever produced and has served as a textbook role model for several stars over the years.
