Trisha has since taken part in many welfare activities with the popular actress taking yet another stride forward and this time in the fight against child labor.

Today being the World Day Against Child Labour, Trisha flagged off a rally jointly organized by UNICEF and the Tamil Nadu government against child labor, which also saw the presence of Chennai Collector Anbu Selvan and the Labor Welfare Department Commissioner Nandagopal.

During her speech, Trisha stated, “It is important for us all to come together and join hands in our fight to end child labor on the World Day Against Child Labour. The labor department has done great work over the last decade in bringing a big reduction in child labor and I congratulate them for their big efforts.”
