As known already, the smash hit Telugu film, Arjun Reddy, is officially being remade in Tamil under the title Varma and in Hindi as Kabir Singh.
Kabir Singh is also being directed by Sandeep Vanga, who helmed Arjun Reddy and is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani reprising the roles played by Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey.
Meanwhile, production on Kabir Singh has been ongoing at Mussoorie, where a tragic incident has now taken place as a technician passed away unexpectedly. As the shooting schedule commenced in a five star hotel, the technician named Mr. Ram Kumar tried to check the generator. While refilling it with oil, his muffler got stuck and the unfortunate accident took place after which the victim was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
After informing his family regarding Ram Kumar's demise, the producers of Kabir Singh have jointly issued a statement saying, "We are deeply saddened by the loss. We are extending our deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. Ram Kumar. We are offering support to the family in the immediate aftermath of this tragic event."
