Rarely do we come across films that go on to win accolades and awards despite not having a theatrical release. Likewise, To Let directed by reputed cinematographer Chezhiyan has now been announced to be the Best Regional Film (Tamil).

To Let featuring newcomers Santhosh Sreeram and Sheela narrates the tale of a couple with a child, who have been given an eviction notice on their home with only thirty days to find a new accomodation with their low-key middle-class income.

This isn't the only recognition To Let has been bestowed with as the film had been judged a winner at the Kolkata International Film Festival as well as the World Human Rights Silver Award in Indonesia along with the Best Dramatic Feature Award at the South Film & Arts Academy Festival in Chile.

Furthermore, To Let produced under the Zha Cinema banner has been announced to be an official selection at this year's edition of the New York Indian Film Festival

The film's star Santhosh Sreeram had previously been nominated for Best Actor at the International Filmmakers Film Festival Of World Cinema in London.
