An upcoming project titled Thuppakki Munai has just been announced which will see actors Vikram Prabhu and Hansika playing the lead pair. Said to be an action thriller, the film is being directed by Mani Ratnam’s former assistant Dinesh Selvaraj under Kalapuli S. Thanu’s V Creations banner. Vikram Prabhu is said to be playing an encounter specialist in the film, which reportedly has an intriguing plot, as per Hansika.
It must be noted that Hansika is often called by fans as the current generation’s Khushboo, who acted in one of Tamil cinema’s most popular films, Chinna Thambi, with Vikram Prabhu’s father, Prabhu. Vikram Prabhu’s next film is Pakka while Hansika’s Gulaebaghavali is hitting screens this Friday as a Pongal release.
