The release of Thoongaavanam's Telugu version Cheekati Raajyam has been confirmed on November 12th. Though the makers initially planned to release it along with the Tamil version, due to the release of Nagarjuna's son Akhil's debut film, the makers have decided to push the release. 
 
However, the Tamil version of the bilingual action thriller starring Kamal Haasan and Trisha is having a wonderful run at the box office. Written by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajesh M. Selva, the film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sri Gokulam Movies.
