Maharshi, released on 9th May, is a action drama and a silver jubilee film of Superstar Mahesh Babu. The movie is labeled to be the highest grossing film in his 20 years long career. The movie had been running successfully, crossing 3 weeks now and has broken various records but Bahubali2's. On 31st May, which happened to be the launch of Mahesh Babu's 26th film, Sarileru Neekevvaru, one of Maharshi's producers, Dil Raju mentioned that the movie has collected over Rs. 10 crores, worldwide.
He also stated that the movie will soon enter the Rs. 30 crore club in a couple of days, at Nizam. According to Dil Raju's statement, following Baahubali 2, Baahubali and Rangasthalam, Maharshi will end up as the all-time fourth highest grossing Telugu movie.
