Aadai, the movie with maximum number of expectations, finally got released on the 19th of July from 6 PM, after lots of struggles. The movie took a take on TV channels producing prank shows and the cons of it. The multifaceted actor, R. Parthiban who made the movie, Kudaikkul Mazhai with a similar plot, way back in 2004, on watching Aadai, took it to his twitter and wrote that the prank shows are to be condemned and should be made a punishable offence. He added that the very thing is still inspiring filmmakers to create a movie (awareness) out of it, and the shows not getting banned is worse than eve teasing. Check out his official tweet!
Aadai was sure expected to be a good and game changing movie, but it had a problematic ending and even more messed up ideology. The way the first half of the movie was written, made us expect a lot more from the writer, but was highly disappointing with the scenes, post the intermission. Otherwise the movie was technically well crafted and Amala Paul's decent performance made it bearable.
