Udhayanidhi Stalin kicked off his cinema career by doing mostly comedy films with Santhanam. When everyone assumed he may not do serious scripts, in came Manithan a stupendous film that the actor managed on his own.

The newly released teaser of Ippadai Vellum confirms Udhayanidhi is going to take a completely new route and prove his mettle as an actor. With a very strong cast, the teaser video seems very promising and looks like an investigation thriller.

The film has Manjima Mohan in the lead and is directed by Gaurav Narayanan. Lyca has produced the movie which is expected to be out in a couple of weeks.
