Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy the upcoming historical war movie made on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy set in the year 1857. The film stars Chiranjeevi in the title role Narasimha Reddy with Allu Arjun, Vijay Sethupathi, Kicha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah in other important roles.
The Big B, Amitabh Bachchan is also doing a cameo in this movie being directed by Surender Reddy with Amit Trivedi composing music. The project bankrolled by Konidela Production Company is currently shooting for the movie in Bidar district, Karnataka.
The movie is filmed by erupting a fort set in Bahmania Sultanate era and there seems to be an Islamic prayer hall in it. The team has reportedly placed Hindu god idols and that made the Muslims in the area to be agitated.
This incident made the police officials remove the idols even though the crew had valid permission from the archeological department. This made the shooting to be stalled and the team to return Hyderabad with subsequently planning for a different shooting location.
