It is official. Rajinikanth's magnum opus Kochadaiiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, will hit screens on May 9, worldwide. The film, also starring Bollywood bombshell Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Nassar and Aadhi in lead roles, is a historical, which brings out the life of king Kochadaiyaan. Written by director KS Ravikumar, the film was shot using the motion capture technology with 3D animation. Kochadaiiyaan is an AR Rahman musical.
