Ever since the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) strike concluded, the question among actor Vishal’s fans has been: when will Irumbu Thirai hit screens?
And, the answer to that question is now out as the TFPC has confirmed Irumbu Thirai directed by debutant PS Mithran under the Vishal Film Factory banner with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja will be hitting screens on May 11.

A cyber crime thriller, Irumbu Thirai boasts of a solid cast featuring actress Samantha Akkineni and Arjun as the antagonist and, will deal with data breach, cyber attacks and data safety management among other online threats.
The film will go head-to-head with yet another biggie, the Savitri biopic made as Mahanati in Telugu and Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil with Keerthy Suresh portraying the legendary actress.
As known already to all, Nadigaiyar Thilagam, also starring Samantha, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Shalini Pandey among others will be coming out on May 9 and arrives two days before Irumbu Thirai.
Both films certainly have quite a lot to offer in terms of interesting content and it will no doubt be an exciting time for Tamil film aficionados next month.
