Jayam Ravi-Arvind Swami starrer Thani Oruvan has been making waves ever since its release. The film gained accolades for its brilliant performance, sleek screenplay and gripping script. Direct by Raja, the film is now all set to be remade in Telugu and Kannada. The Telugu remake rights of the film has been sold for a whopping Rs. 5.5 crore by producer D.V.V. Danayya and Ram Charan plays the lead role. While Upendra is likely to sign the Kannada version. Now, the film will be remade in Bengali too--actors Jeet and Prosenjit will play the lead.
