The Tuticorin district has worn a rather gloomy atmosphere over the past few days after the Sterlite protests took an ugly turn when the police took charge at the protesters leading to a shootout killing above 10 people and leaving several injured. With Tamil Nadu still recovering from the shocking incidents, actor Vijay last night (June 5) made a silent visit to the families of the victims who had passed away.
During his visit, 'Thalapathy' Vijay went to the houses of Antony Selvaraj, Bhaskar, Cliston, Dheena Karthik, Jansi, Kaliappan, Snolin, Thalamuthu and Thangaiah.
Pictures have surfaced on social media showing Vijay traveling on a bike to visit the families of the victims at their houses which were situated in very narrow streets.
