The action political film also starring Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Pala. Karuppiah, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu with music by A. R. Rahman has spelled wonders for Sun Pictures, who have bankrolled the project.
With Sarkar basking in massive box office glory, Sun Pictures have now crossed 1 lakh followers on their Instagram page. The reputed production house will be looking to carry forward the same momentum in the days ahead with their other prestigious film, Petta, announced as a Pongal 2019 release, starring ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth in the lead role under Karthik Subbaraj’s direction with the cast also featuring big names like Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, among others with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
