A film that has set everyone talking for quite sometime, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar has come under intense scrutiny by the ruling state government over a particular scene. Produced by Sun Pictures, the action political drama also includes Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Pala. Karuppiah, Yogi Babu in starring roles with music by A. R. Rahman. Meanwhile, last night saw the police arrive at A. R. Murugadoss’s house after which the director went on to reveal they banged on his door and left the premises upon realizing he wasn’t there.
Police had come to my house late tonight and banged the door several times.Since I was not there they left the premises. Right now I was told there is no police outside my house.— A.R.Murugadoss (@ARMurugadoss) November 8, 2018
That said, A. R. Murugadoss has now applied for an anticipatory bail at the Madras High Court with reports stating the application will be looked into today (09.11.2018) afternoon. It now remains to be seen how upcoming events materialize and whether there will be a quick resolve to the controversy surrounding Sarkar.
