Actor Vijay’s fans share a special bond with their favorite star and have always followed it up with goodwill efforts for those in need all these years.
Fans usually celebrate Vijay’s birthday amidst much fanfare and also engage in charitable and welfare activities by providing food to the downtrodden, books and accessories to students, organizing blood donation camps and so on.
Now, with Vijay’s birthday in 10 days on June 22, the actor has requested his fans in an official press release not to celebrate this year owing to the deaths that occurred during the Sterlite protests at Tuticorin.
Vijay has posed this request to his fans considering this is not the right time to engage in a celebratory activity especially when the families of the victims and all those injured are recovering from the trauma.
