Likewise, the popular micro-blogging social networking website Twitter has now released a list of the top 10 talked about esteemed personalities of 2018 in which actor Vijay has been named. 

Among the 10 Most Talked about Indian Personalities in 2018 on Twitter, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay is the only Tamilian and stands at the eighth position. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the first place followed by Congress President Rahul Gandhi at second, Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah in third spot, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in fourth place, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in fifth position, actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan in the sixth place, ‘Bollywood Baadshah’ Shah Rukh Khan in the seventh spot, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in ninth place and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the tenth position.

The most interesting aspect however is that Vijay has only tweeted thrice on his official Twitter page in 2018 in comparison to the other reputed personalities named in the list. For a man who doesn't speak too often, but lets his actions do the talking, this just goes on to show the immense popularity the Tamil superstar enjoys among the masses and the classes.
