The countdown is nearing its end as all eyes are set on the first look and title reveal of actor Vijay’s upcoming film, Thalapathy 63, set to happen later today evening at 6PM followed by the second look poster at 12AM tomorrow in light of the superstar’s birthday that falls tomorrow (June 22). A day that is most awaited by Vijay fans everywhere, popular Indian cricketer, Ravichandran Ashwin took to his Twitter page to post a message stating the rains that will hit Chennai later this weekend is directly proportional to Vijay’s birthday as both are going to serve as big treats for the people. Vijay’s birthday has been a mighty special day for fans over the years as they engage in several goodwill activities from donating blood, to providing food for the needy, books and study material including stationery for students including many other acts of kindness and charity. The actor too has propagated the message of helping all those who are in need in his films as well as in real life in the various events he has participated. The excitement among the superstar’s fans is at an all-time high, especially with the unveiling of the first look and second look posters and, the official title of Thalapathy 63.
Billed to be an action-packed sports drama, Thalapathy 63 being directed by Atlee will see Vijay as the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team and is at present progressing at a steady pace in terms of production. An AGS Entertainment venture with music by A. R. Rahman, the film announced for a Diwali release in October is a multi-starrer featuring names like Nayanthara as the female lead with Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer, Soundararaja, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Dheena among others in supporting roles.
