A film that is carrying massive expectations around it, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay in the lead role is the third-time the superstar is working with director Atlee after their Theri and Mersal and will be hitting screens this Diwali.
Being produced by AGS Entertainment, Vijay 63 has music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman and is set to become one of the biggest commercial sports entertainers in Tamil cinema.
Thalapathy 63 is a multistarrer and includes names like Nayanthara playing the female lead followed by Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John among others in vital supporting roles.
We had only a few days back revealed that a scene featuring Vijay making his entry onto a set resembling a football stadium was shot. Furthermore, we had disclosed that ‘Thalapathy’ is playing the role of the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team in the film.
Meanwhile, sources close to us have now revealed that a scene with Vijay, Vivek and Yogi Babu was shot on Wednesday (April 10, 2019) where the three stars were seen clad in a full coat and suit. Apparently, the two leading comedians will be seen assisting ‘Thalapathy’ in his role as the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team in the upcoming sports drama.
It must be noted that the Thalapathy 63 team have planned to shoot sequences of football matches in a stadium set that has especially been put up for the purpose for the next 50 days. Based on what we have come to hear so far about the film, we can expect it to be a cracker of a treat this October.
