A film that had kick-started massive excitement even before its official announcement last year, Vijay’s next tentatively titled Thalapathy 63 is all set to be directed by Atlee under the AGS Entertainment banner.
Also starring Nayanthara as the female lead with Kathir, Vivek and Yogi Babu in vital supporting roles, the upcoming film is touted to be a sports drama with Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman scoring music for a Vijay film for the third consecutive time after their previous blockbusters, Mersal and Sarkar.
Meanwhile, it is now said a formal pooja with the entire cast and crew will be held tomorrow (20.01.2019) before the film rolls into production on Monday (21.01.2019).
Expectations for Vijay 63 are massive especially after the smashing success of last year’s Sarkar, which went on to be declared the highest grossing film in Tamil Nadu.
