One of the most exciting films in development, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay under Atlee’s direction was announced last month. Touted to be a sports venture, the film is being produced by AGS Entertainment with Nayanthara as the female lead, Vivek and Indhuja in vital supporting roles and A. R. Rahman scoring the music. As of now, pre-work is underway to begin filming from January 2019 in line with the Diwali 2019 release plans.
We had earlier reported that AGS Cinemas CEO Archana Kalpathi along with Atlee and Mersal cinematographer GK Vishnu were seen together at Los Angeles in California. It is believed the trio were doing recce work for Vijay 63 to finalize one of the many locations the team has planned to shoot once production begins next month.
Now, it looks like the film could possibly be shot in various locations across the world including Tokyo, Japan, if one were to go by Archana Kalpathi’s story update on her Instagram page where she and the Thalapathy 63 team reportedly camped yesterday (Thursday - 06.12.2018).
Although not much is known about Vijay 63 at this point, these updates sure do have Vijay and Nayanthara fans everywhere quite excited.
