"They shot with Vijay's dupe for three days in Thalapathy 63"
Announced to hit screens as a Diwali release, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay in the lead role under Atlee’s direction with music by A. R. Rahman is carrying massive expectations and is being produced by AGS Entertainment.
A sports drama, Vijay 63 includes a multi star cast featuring names like Nayanthara playing the female lead followed by Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Devadarshini, Thaadi Balaji among others in piviotal roles.
An exciting film right from the beginning, Thalapathy 63 has also faced its own share of controversies after an assistant director named KP Selva made claims of story theft followed by a junior artist named Krishna Devi putting forward allegations that she was treated in a rude manner by Atlee and his assistants and, subsequently went on to file a police case thereafter.
Krishna Devi had earlier this week interacted with the press to address the controversy on the Thalapathy 63 sets and went on to state that Vijay had come down for only one day’s shoot while also revealing that dupes had stood in for him including Nayanthara, Vivek and Yogi Babu during filming.
Despite all the controversies surrounding Thalapathy 63, it is one of the most exciting films in development as Vijay will be seen playing the role of the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team.
