Last year saw, one of the biggest blockbusters in Tamil cinema history in the form of ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar directed by A. R. Murugadoss release under the Sun Pictures banner. Now, with ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Petta and ‘Thala’ Ajith’s Viswasam out in theatres, fans everywhere have kick-started their Pongal 2019 celebrations in grand style.
That said, popular actress and choreographer Gayathri Raghuram, who also participated in the first season of the hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, has now expressed her dismay at Vijay’s film not being part of the Pongal 2019 race while also stating she is waiting with eager anticipation for Thalapathy 63.

Announced as a Diwali 2019 release, Thalapathy 63 will be the third-time reunion for Vijay and Atlee and this time under the AGS Entertainment banner with Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman scoring the music and Nayanthara as the female lead while Vivek and Indhuja will be seen in major supporting roles.
