The stage is all set as the wait is nearing an end for the highly anticipated first look and official title of Vijay’s upcoming film, Thalapathy 63, coming out today evening. Fans are looking forward to be blown away yet again with the superstar’s next considering tomorrow (June 21) is Vijay’s birthday and also the start of celebrations for his fans ahead of the film’s release. With only a couple of hours left to go for the Thalapathy 63 first look to be released, reputed poster and publicity designer, Gopi Prasannaa teased fans on Twitter telling them to "charge their phones with full brightness" making us believe the Vijay 63 first look will most likely be dark in tone. This isn’t the first time Gopi Prasannaa gave fans a similar lead for a first look considering he had teased last year in the exact manner for the first poster reveal of the smash hit, Sarkar.

As said earlier, Thalapathy 63 isn’t the first time Gopi Prasannaa is designing the first look of a Vijay film as he had contributed his skills earlier starting with blockbusters like Kaththi, Theri, Mersal and Sarkar. All the posters of the respective films went on to receive a thunderous response from fans across social networking forums with many flooding the timeline of the popular poster designer’s Twitter page for more hints on how the Thalapathy 63 will turn out to be. Being directed by Atlee, the entire team has been hard at work on the sports action drama coming out under the AGS Entertainment banner this Diwali in October.
The excitement and expectation for Thalapathy 63 is massive considering Vijay is said to be playing the role of the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s team in the film. Furthermore, it was revealed a few days back that he will be seen in dual roles, which incidentally will be the sixth occasion after films like Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Villu, Kaththi, Puli and Mersal. A. R. Rahman is scoring the music for Thalapathy 63, which also has Nayanthara as the female lead, Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer, Soundararaja, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Dheena among others in major supporting roles.
