We had not long back reported ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth and Sarkar director A. R. Murugadoss would be joining hands for the upcoming film tentatively titled, Thalaivar 166, under the Sun Pictures. Soon after we had revealed Lyca Productions would be stepping in to take over the production of the upcoming venture.
Thalaivar 166 has fans highly excited considering this will be the first time association between Rajinikanth and A. R. Murugadoss with the hype now scaling upwards after the stupendous success of their respective films, 2.0 and Sarkar.
That said, sources close to us have now revealed that Anirudh Ravichander will be coming on board to score the music. This will be the second consecutive time the ‘Rockstar’ composer will working in a ‘Superstar’ film as their Petta under Karthik Subbaraj’s direction is all set for a Pongal 2019 release with the film's audio launch scheduled to take place tomorrow (09.12.2018).
