Nerkonda Paarvai producer's new statement is here
Producer Boney Kapoor had was on an announcement spree under his Bayview Projects LLP banner among which Nerkonda Paarvai starring ‘Thala’ Ajith in the lead role has been directed by H. Vinoth and has been announced to hit screens on August 10.
Featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Nerkonda Paarvai is an official remake of the Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee starrer, Pink, and also includes Vidya Balan as the female lead followed by Shraddha Srinath, Rangaraj Pandey, Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, Sujith Shankar, Kalki Koechlin, KK Menon and others in vital supporting roles.
Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor has now issued a new press release in which he goes on to talk about how he made his first independent film, Hum Paanch, in Hindi in 1979 and emphasizes on how he shows special importance to his crew being treated well.
Boney Kapoor had during the shoot of Hum Paanch gone to the extent of serving food to his cast and crew while also constructing 20 cottages with attached bathrooms for their stay as the nearest hotel from the location was over 100 miles away from the shooting location.
It has been further revealed that there were two separate cottages for a movie theatre and a clubhouse for indoor games while also providing a badminton court with the movie theatre featuring a choice of 40 different movies to keep the cast and crew entertained.
A photograph below shows food being served to the cast that includes Sanjeev Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Raj Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Ranjith Sood, AK Hangal, and Uday Chandra who can be seen eating together.
It must be noted that Boney Kapoor had put up the same effort during the production of his last film, Mom, in Georgia’s snow-capped mountains and is a special venture for the producer as it was Sridevi’s 300th film.
