Ajith fans are an excited lot over the past few days post the release of the "Adchithooku" single track from the star’s upcoming Pongal 2019 release, Viswasam. With the upcoming rural entertainer gearing up to hit screens next month, there’s more joyous news for ‘Thala’ fans now.
A project that has been keenly looked at for a while, Thala 59, the official remake of the smash hit Hindi film, Pink, has its formal pooja conducted today. To be produced by Late actress Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor with Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame H. Vinoth set to direct, Ajith will be seen reprising iconic Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s role with a star yet to be cast in Taapsee Pannu’s role, who we expect to be announced in the days ahead.
The news of Thala 59 flagging off will no doubt leave ‘Thala’ Ajith fans jubilant and right before entering New Year 2019. Although no release date has been announced yet, we can expect the upcoming courtroom drama to hit screens sometime in the middle or the second half of 2019.
