Announced to hit screens in May later this year, Ajith’s Thala 59 being directed by H. Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame has officially begun production.
Being produced by late actress Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor under the Bayview Projects LLP banner with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, AK 59, an official remake of the Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu Bollywood film, Pink, also includes Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Rangaraj Pandey, director Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram , Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, Sujith Shankar among others in starring roles.
With production on Thala 59 already underway at Chennai, we had reported earlier that Vikram Vedha fame Shraddha Srinath would begin filming her portions starting today and pictures have now flooded social networking forums of herself and her co-stars inside their trailer/caravan.
