A huge star in Tamil cinema, Suriya has gone on become a massive name in Kerala as well over the years and at present is attached to several films down the line.
The actor will first be seen in NGK under Selvaraghavan’s direction, which is one of the most anticipated films in recent times being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Featuring Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh, the action political drama includes music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and has been announced to hit screens on May 31.
Suriya will then be seen in Kaappaan most likely releasing as an August/September release for which he is still shooting under KV Anand’s direction being produced by Lyca Productions. With music by Harris Jayaraj, the action thriller also includes Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani, Poorna, Boman Irani, Chirag Dani among others in major starring roles.
That said, fans will also know that Suriya is set to begin work on another film, Suriya 38, under his 2D Entertainment banner with Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara for the direction and music by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
Meanwhile, Suriya along with his co-producer Rajsekar Pandian and director Sudha Kongara have now travelled to the Ajmer Dargah in Rajasthan to seek blessings ahead of Suriya 38’s official launch, which we can expect to happen in the days ahead.
