Announced for a Diwali release, ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film, NGK, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has been progressing at pace.
With the third leg of shooting at present going on, a few pictures of the film’s cast primarily of Suriya have surfaced online showing the actor clad in a white veshti and shirt; the attire predominantly worn by politicians down here in south India.
Seeing Suriya in such a costume, there is now chatter that the star could be playing a politician.
Although the film is speculated to include a political theme, there is no confirmation yet from the makers on Suriya’s role as a politician in NGK.
Furthermore, there have been reports stating actress Sai Pallavi could be playing Suriya’s wife in the film.
It must be noted actress Rakul Preet Singh too has a big role to play in the film being produced under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner.
