A film carrying massive expectations right from the get go, ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan’s action political drama, NGK, starring Suriya in the lead role has been announced for a release on May 31.
Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures banner, NGK will see Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads followed by Telugu star Jagapati Babu as the antagonist and Bala Singh, Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vela Ramamoorthy among others in pivotal roles along with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
With the excitement for NGK already sky-high, the makers earlier this week announced that the audio and trailer will be released on April 29 as a special treat. Considering both Selvaraghavan and Suriya are perfectionists, it is believed the trailer that is being unveiled will carry all the necessary factors to boost the hype surrounding the film coming out next month.
Meanwhile, the reputed overseas distribution company Weekend Cinema have announced that they will be releasing NGK’s Tamil and Telugu versions in the USA with the film’s premiere scheduled to take place on May 30.
This will no doubt come as music to the ears of Suriya's fans in the US considering most Indian films that get released abroad have their premiere a day before its regional release date.
