The first release for Suriya this year, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, and also his first partnership with director Vignesh ShivN turned out to be a rousing success at the box office.


Produced under the Studio Green banner with pulsating tracks by Anirudh Ravichander, TSK had an ensemble cast featuring Keerthy Suresh as the female lead followed by Karthik, Ramya Krishnan, Senthil, RJ Balaji, Nandha, Suresh Chandra Menon, Thambi Ramaiah, Kalaiyarasan, Sathyan among many others in vital supporting roles.


With the film turning out to be a success, Suriya yesterday gifted Vignesh ShivN a flashy red Toyota Innova Crysta car for directing Thaanaa Serndha Koottam.


Vignesh ShivN took to his Twitter page to thank Suriya for his gesture by saying it takes a big heart to encourage beginners.

As of now, Vignesh ShivN is said to be completing scripting work on his next film most likely with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.


Suriya, on the other hand, is at present starring in Selvaraghavan’s NGK and will begin work on director KV Anand’s next film later this year.
