Sun Pictures acquires Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai

After the average box office performance of his back-to-back Salute (Sathyam in Tamil) and Pista (Thoranai in Tamil), South India's black stallion Vishal is very concerned about his forthcoming bilingual Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai (Khiladi in Telugu), being directed by Thiru and produced by Vishal's brother Vikram.

Bringing joy to Vishal's face, Kalanidhi Maran-owned media giant Sun Pictures has acquired the distribution rights of Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai. Notably, Sun Pictures’ recent release Vettaikaran has donemarvellous business at box office, owing to continuous promos on its all sister channels; Vishal can surely be tension-free as his film too will be commercially successful with distribution by Sun Pictures.

Somesources suggest that after watching several films,Sun Pictures officials could not find a better project than Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai. The film will hitscreens on February 5 and teasers will be aired across all the channels of Sun Network from Pongal (January 14)onwards.
