It has been a big day for actor Simbu and his fans as director Venkat Prabhu went on to announce their upcoming film’s title to be as Maanaadu with the tagline ‘A Venkat Prabhu Politics’.
With the Maanaadu title announced, STR released a video a short while back thanking his fans for the tremendous response and also went on to clarify that the film will debate about politics, but is in no way a statement that he is going to venture into politics next.
At the same time, Simbu further expressed his thoughts on the various controversies cropping up in Tamil cinema in recent times with the latest being the subject of smoking in ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar first look poster.
STR went on to state, “Cinema should be left out as cinema and that he is willing to sit down to discuss on the issue,”.
