With AAA not performing well at the box office, things spiralled down between Michael Rayappan and Simbu with the issue turning out to be quite a controversy thereafter.
That said, there have been new reports stating Michael Rayappan filed a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers Council asking STR to compensate Rs .20 crores since he had only taken part in the AAA's shooting for 27 days contrary to the 60 days as stipulated in their agreement.
Meanwhile, in a statement, sources close to STR have said to us they are not aware of any such developments.
As for his upcoming projects, Simbu will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s highly anticipated multi-starrer action crime drama, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, slated to hit screens on September 27.
STR has also begun filming in Georgia for Sundar. C’s upcoming project, the remake of the hit Telugu Pawan Kalyan starrer, Attarintiki Daredi.
