Sathya is a remake which is hardly evident in the original film which looks as authentic as any other Tamil movie featuring Sibiraj and Remya Nambeesan in the lead cast. The film is produced by Nathambal Film Factory.

The director of Sathya, Pradeep Krishnamoorthy who previously made Saithan is at his level best. The film picks up a slow pace in order to connect the dots but in the end becomes extremely engaging especially with Varalaxmi and Anand Raj exploring the case that seems to be amiss on all fronts.
