Last week saw the end to the TFPC strike as well as the announcement of the new release date of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Kaala.
Slated now for a June 7 release, Kaala has been directed by Pa. Ranjith under the Wunderbar Films and Lyca Productions banners with music by Santhosh Narayanan.
Meanwhile, the makers of Kaala a short while back made it official that the film’s satellite rights for all languages have been snapped by Star Network.

As known already, Star Network is the parent body of a number of TV channels that are telecast across the nation enjoying a massive popularity for its wide variety of programs and Kaala’s rights with the network giant will ensure a huge fanfare for the film.
Kaala has a tremendous acting talent featuring Nana Patekar as the antagonist, Huma Qureshi as the female lead, Samuthirakani, Easwari Rao, Shayaji Shinde, Aravind Akash, Anjai Patil, Sakshi Agarwal, Pankaj Tripathi, Ravi Kale among others in vital supporting roles.
