Srihari was an award winning actor in the Telugu film industry, and a character artist as well. He began his career as a stunt fighter, later started out in Telugu cinema as an antagonist and went on to become the most popular hero. Post his demise because of liver related ailment in 2013, his wife and actress-dancer Disco Shanthi raised their two sons, Meghamsh Srihari and Shashank Srihari.
According to the recent updates, Meghamsh Srihari is geared up to make his acting debut. Meghamsh will be seen playing the male lead in a youthful romantic entertainer, titled Rajdhoot. The film is being directed by debutant director duo, Karthik and Arjun. The shooting is underway at the moment and further updates will be revealed soon.
Apart from a huge number of Telugu films, Srihari has also acted in a few Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. One such is the role of Devaraj IPS, in Vijay's Vettaikkaran.
