Her death earlier this year shocked the entire nation and left a massive hole in the world of acting as Sridevi Kapoor is upheld by generations as a big role model.


Actress Sridevi, who has starred in 300 films till date, will next be seen in one last time in a cameo in the upcoming Bollywood film, Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.


That being said, the 65th National Film Awards were announced today with Sridevi being adjudged the Best Actor (Female) posthumously for her performance in last year’s Mom.


This subsequently also makes it the first ever time Sridevi has won a National Award.


Despite being made in Hindi, Mom, her 300th film, was later dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and, saw Sridevi dub for all four versions.


Fans across the world will no doubt hold this award bestowed upon Sridevi in high esteem.
