The talented, young composer GV Prakash will be making his acting debut as a hero with the movie Pencil, to be directed by Mani. This movie, said to be going on floors in December, was to have Priya Anand as the female lead. However, the buzz is that GVP has himself recently revealed that Sri Divya of Varutha Padaadha Vaalibar Sangam fame will be playing the female lead instead of Priya Anand. This will be her second movie in Kollywood, following the successful VVS opposite Sivakarthikeyan. Touted to be a contemporary thriller movie, Pencil will have music by GVP himself.
