Court's Notice On Sodakku Song Controversy From Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam
Few days back, a member from AIADMK had approached the Court with the complaint that few verses from the Sodakku song was aimed at politicians and a ban was requested.

With the response to TSK being an unanimous double thumbs up, an update on the petition filed in the Madras High Court asking for a ban on 'Sodakku Poattu' song has now come.
Few days back, Sathish, a member from AIADMK had approached the Court with the complaint that the lines "Adhigaara Thimirai Viratti Viratti Velukka Thonudhu" from the 'Sodakku' song was aimed at politicians and a ban was requested.
Meanwhile, a panel of judges today at the Court have now asked for an English translation of the lyrics to be presented so they can come to a decision. For now, it is believed the translation for the verses will be submitted in the Court during the next hearing after which a decision will likely be made.
