One of the most prolific people in the Tamil film industry, filmmaker turned actor SJ Suryah’s career has taken a new surge over the past few years.
Although he isn’t directing these days, SJ Suryah as an actor is now at the top of the league post his stunning performances in films namely Iraivi, Spyder and Mersal.
That said, SJ Suryah has now officially revealed he will be making his Bollywood acting debut opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan next.
The SJ Surya - Amitabh Bachchan venture has been titled Uyarndha Manidhan and will be directed by Tha. Thamilvanan. The movie will be made in Tamil and Hindi. SJ Surya had already worked with Thamilvanan in Kalvani Kadhali.
It must be noted the upcoming project will be his full length acting debut in Bollywood post a cameo appearance in Khushi, the Hindi remake of his Tamil blockbuster, Kushi, starring ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay and Jyothika.
SJ Suryah’s entry in Bollywood will no doubt leave his fans mighty pleased, who are also awaiting his upcoming Tamil films starting with the long-delayed Nenjam Marappathillai under Selvaraghavan’s direction.
Furthermore, the romantic drama thriller, Iravaakaalam, has a section of fans quite excited post the release of the film’s teaser last year.
