Actor Sivakarthikeyan has his hands full with multiple projects which include Indru Netru Naalai director R. Ravikumar’s sci-fi film, SK 14, featuring music by A. R. Rahman, Hero with Irumbu Thirai director PS Mithran, SK 16 under director Pandiraj being produced by Sun Pictures, SK 17 with Vignesh Shivn under the Lyca Productions banner and SK 18 with Kolamavu Kokila director Nelson Dilipkumar. With Sivakarthikeyan quite busy with all these films, the actor has been engaged in a fun-filled banter with directors PS Mithran and R. Ravikumar, who have all been talking on updates from the star’s upcoming films. That said, director Pandiraj too had joined in and revealed that the SK 16 first look is getting ready and will be released in another 2-3 weeks' time.

SK 16 has actresses Anu Emmanuel as the female lead and Aishwarya Rajesh in a major supporting role with music being composed by D. Imman. Touted to be a rural entertainer, filming has been taking place for a while in scenic locations across Tamil Nadu with the supporting cast also featuring names like veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, Samuthirakani, cinematographer turned actor Natarajan Subramaniam, RK Suresh in supporting roles and, Yogi Babu and Soori for the comedy followed by Nirav Shah for the cinematography and editing by Ruben.
