The second schedule of Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar was wrapped recently. The makers are right on track and the film's shoot is progressing at a brisk pace. Darbar is directed by A.R.Murugadoss and produced by Lyca, with Nayanthara playing the female lead. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and this is his second collaboration with Rajinikanth after the blockbuster success of Petta songs.

Talking about the film's music, it was earlier speculated that legendary singer S.P.Balasubrahmanyam crooned his voice for the introduction song. This has now been confirmed by SPB himself, who shared some interesting details about the song in a recent event. He shared the scenario in which the song would take place. "The intro song happens in a situation where people praise Rajini for a good thing that he did.

He stops the people from that and tells that it was his basic duty to safeguard people. He will tell them not to heap praises on him. He would also tell that if he removes the Police dress that he wears, he is also a common man like them. That is when he would sing a song for the masses. The song has come out really well. My heartiest thanks to Anirudh, the production team and Superstar."

It can be recalled that SPB crooned his voice for the intro song of Petta (Marana Mass) and it looks like the combo is back again for Darbar. Rajinikanth will be playing a cop in this action entertainer. which is shot by Santosh Sivan. Check out this video below to know what SPB exactly said.
